So, is it just me, or does it bug anyone else that there is no inflation in the year 3000? Do they discuss it in the DVD commentary or any other place? I am not sure why it bugs me, and I hate to be "that guy." To demonstrate, I will quote the simpsons: "In reference to episode 3f04, Itchy strikes one of Scratchy's ribs, producing one note, then strikes it again, producing a different note. I really hope someone got fired for that." |

I work with sculpey & make little charms/earrings for a living. I was working with some green clay & had some left over. Hiya
What up Chumps and Chumpettes? My name is Aaron (2a for short) and I just joined. I am a member of some Simpsons groups, and a mod in Springfield (dont know how to do that cool link thing.) The Simpsons are my favorite show, but I have recently discovered Futurama in the last 6 months. Have watched every episode a ton of times and love it! It seems like this place is set up like Springfield, in that I can post any quote that jumps into my head and ya'll will respond with more! I love it. My favorite character is Flexo, I love his insults that he turns into non insults. Hypno Toad is my all time favorite however. And I think we should all go to the Brain Slug Planet, and walk around with out a helmet on. Favorite episode (right now) is War is the H word. "They got a lot of brains, and they got a lot of cutzpa." Cant get that quote out of my head. Can't wait to chat with ya'll. Also, what is the status of any comeback of the show? I saw the thing about June, any truth or is all speculation? Peace out, ya'll. I am going to catch the next pimp mobile out of here. |

The first trailer for the sequel to the Batman: Arkham Asylum game! The first game was ridiculously fun and very well received by critics and fans alike, so I'm really excited. ♥ Apparently, Two-Face and the Joker are teaming up in this one, and you'll get to play in Gotham City instead of just at the Asylum. It also earns bonus awesome points for the cameo of the Iceberg Lounge - the first one was rife with continuity nods, and I'm sure they'll include tons of locations from the comics. |

"Bender is great, oh Bender is great! Bender, Bender, Bender!"
I tend to watch Futurama as part of my daily going to sleep ritual so after watching every episode and movie a gazillion times, I noticed that while everyone else's character is pretty consistent, Bender has a few things that change depending on the episode. A few examples: •"It's so unfair! I have eight other senses, but I'd trade them all, even smision, to be able to taste." •"Oh, Fry, you gotta try this sterno-nicoise!" "No, thanks. That's robot food." "It's so good. Oh, just try a little!" •"Ah, I just need sleep. I had nightmares all night about cars running people over." •"I can't sleep at night, although, as a robot, I don't do that anyway." [Granted, that's Calculon, so maybe Bender's a different kind of robot?] •"Oh, no! I'm not going near it. Last time, that magnetic psycho nearly cut my head off." "Oh, right. Plus, the magnet screws up your inhibition unit and makes you sing folk songs." •"Well, now you know. I'm not actually rich. I'm a fraud. A poor, lazy, sexy fraud. This isn't even a real bow-tie, it's magnetic." Also, he seems to sometimes be able to have emotions and sometimes not be able to. Anyone have more to add? Anyone notice other things like this on the show? |
